Touch checkout
Tap a tile, scan a barcode or type a code. Split payments, part-cash part-card, hold a basket and pick it up again — without the screen ever changing page.
Every planILX POS runs your counter, your stock and your kitchen from one screen — touch checkout, GST and VAT receipts, shifts and cash drawer, loyalty and a customer display. On your own PC, or on a server you never have to think about.
Nothing here is an add-on you discover you need on day three. The checkout, the drawer, the receipts and the reports come together, and each one behaves the way somebody standing at a counter with a queue expects it to.
Tap a tile, scan a barcode or type a code. Split payments, part-cash part-card, hold a basket and pick it up again — without the screen ever changing page.
Every planOpen a shift in the cashier's own name, count the float, and close the day with a declaration the system checks against what it recorded. Short and over are visible, not argued about. A “?” on every section shows how each figure is worked out. The till asks before it locks, and a locked till stays locked through a refresh until a password is entered.
Every planA tax receipt carrying your GSTIN or TRN, printed or emailed, and every transaction findable afterwards. A reprint is one search — not a phone call to whoever was on the till.
Every planBarcode scanners, receipt printers and cash drawers connect the way they already do. Weighing scales are supported for loose goods, with the label layout set per shop.
Every planA counter account can be exempted from the idle timeout, so the till does not log itself out with three customers waiting. Set per user, by the owner, not guessed by role.
Every planTakings by day, by counter and by cashier. Add GST or VAT returns, profit & loss and a trial balance when you need them — the same data, not a second system.
Chain planEvery plan includes the product catalogue, because a counter with nothing to sell is not a smaller product — it is a broken one. Add stock control when you are ready and the same items start carrying quantities, cost and valuation.
A kitchen board and a customer display are not screens anybody signs in to. They are switched on and left, often on a machine with no keyboard, in a room where nobody has an account. So they get their own keys — and each television can be retired on its own.
A till is not just a checkout. Every ILX POS licence carries the company record, the settings screen, users and permissions, tax and backup — because a counter without them is not a cheaper product, it is one that cannot open.
Your trading name, GSTIN or TRN, address, logo and the currency and date format everything prints in. Set once; the receipts, reports and screens all follow it.
Terminals and counter profiles, receipt layout, tax rules, whether a customer is required on every sale, and which trade the shop is — the till reshapes to match.
Give a cashier the till and nothing else. Permissions are set per user by the owner, and a counter account can use a short password it can actually type at a keypad.
A shop's takings should never live in one place only. Backup is on every plan, covers the whole install, and restores without a support ticket.
Self-hosted and offline plans run on your hardware. The licence decides which modules open — it never phones home for permission to sell.
Campaigns, vouchers, draws and points — built once, applied at the counter. Add it on the Chain plan when a promotion is worth running properly.
Seven trade profiles ship in settings, and the counter reshapes to whichever you choose — a restaurant gets a kitchen and table service, a grocery gets weighing, a salon gets the staff who did the work. Nothing irrelevant is left on screen for a cashier to wonder about.
Barcodes, variants, quick tiles and a fast reprint. The default the rest are built from.
Dine-in, tables, fire-to-kitchen before payment, and a board that hears a cancellation.
Fast repeat orders, small baskets, order numbers on the customer screen.
Loose goods by weight, scale integration, and a layout set per shop rather than guessed.
The grocery profile with more counters. Weighing, barcodes and stock on every till, and one product list they all read from.
Many lanes, many branches. The Chain plan pairs the grocery profile with branch stock, purchase orders and one set of takings across the estate.
Batch-aware items and a counter that expects a named customer on the sale.
Services rather than stock, with the staff member recorded against the sale.
Charges and fees over a desk, with a proper tax receipt at the end of it.
Cloud billing software in India runs ₹500–₹5,000 a month, and a desktop licence ₹15,000–₹80,000 outright. In the UAE a restaurant POS averages 250–400. ILX POS starts below all of them — and the second counter does not cost you another half-licence.
Self-hosted on your own server — a subscription for the app only. You provide and manage the hosting, the backups and the renewals, so the price is lower and no machine limit applies.

Bought once and yours to keep — a shop that buys a cash register does not expect it to stop at the end of a month. One licence covers a server PC and the till PCs beside it on your own network. Machine activation applies to this deployment only, and the first year of updates and support is included.

How that compares. Published Indian cloud billing plans start around ₹500 a month and desktop licences ₹15,000–₹80,000 outright; UAE restaurant POS averages 250–400 a month, with the cheapest advertised around 75. ILX POS Start is below each of those, and unlike most Indian plans a second billing counter is not charged as another half-licence. Market figures from publicly advertised 2026 pricing, September 2026. All prices exclude GST/VAT.
